Married At First Sight’s Harrison Boon had an awkward run-in with his ex-girlfriend Abby Miller when they attended a Hyper Karting event in Sydney on Thursday night.
The former flames, who went on a date at the same venue just months earlier, were left speechless when they realised they were both scheduled to race the same time.
Footage captured by Daily Mail Australia shows Harrison, 32, putting on his helmet while Abby, 21, sits just metres behind him in the pit area.
As if things weren’t tense enough, a blackout occurred during the event, forcing all riders to wait even longer before getting behind the wheel.
‘Harrison couldn’t believe his luck,’ one cast member told Daily Mail Australia.

‘Abby was standing just metres away from him. They exchanged looks as they waited for their turn to ride. We were all watching,’ they added.
Despite the awkwardness, the pair managed to maintain their composure and kept their distance once they finally got to ride the go-karts.
The atmosphere at the event was tense, an onlooker said, but the pair seemed determined to enjoy themselves separately.

Back in February, Daily Mail Australia published leaked text messages between Abby and Harrison that suggested their relationship was nothing more than ‘a little fun’.
Harrison’s best friend Paul Salviani, who served as the best man at his wedding, also confirmed their romance was just a casual fling.
‘Harrison was never committed to Abby. He was just seeing her for a few weeks for fun. She was so unimportant that I only knew her as “the 21-year-old”,’ Paul said.
‘I did meet her but I forgot her name and we just called her that. So how important to him could she be?’

Paul said Harrison never promised Abby they were going to be together after MAFS.
‘She was free to move on. He broke up with her. Got the message across,’ he said.
‘Harry made it clear he was going on the show to get married, so it goes without saying that he does not want to see her at all. That it was done.’

Harrison’s ‘wife’ Bronte Schofield was infamously confronted on her wedding day by her pal Jessica Tomlinson who had intel about Harrison’s pre-show fling with Abby.
Jessica showed receipts in the form of photos, WhatsApp screenshots and even a picture of an open suitcase, which she said was Harrison’s bag he was packing the day before leaving to film MAFS.
A shocked Bronte replied: ‘You’re lying. If that’s true, that’s my worst nightmare.’
