A Nigerian man has raised an alarm after the online trading platform, Cbex, allegedly crashed just hours after he sold his phone and other belongings to invest $313 in the platform.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the man expressed his disbelief over the platform’s sudden collapse, revealing that he had sold his phone and personal items to raise the funds for the investment.

However, he was shocked to find that he could no longer withdraw his money.

He wrote: “I joined Cbex with an investment of $313 just yesterday, Wednesday. However, this evening, I found out that people can no longer withdraw their money today.”

“The painful part is that I sold my phone and some other belongings to join this trade. Please, I need help. Cbex, don’t go yet!”

His post quickly gained traction online, prompting concerned individuals to flood the comments with their thoughts and support.
