A Nigerian man recently took to the microblogging platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to recount a memorable interaction he had with a security guard at a local eatery.
The man, who goes by the username @Pentane, detailed the encounter that took place two weeks ago after he had finished his meal at the restaurant.
Man Shares Encounter With Security Man
In his now-viral post, @Pentane described how the security guard gave him a warm greeting, which prompted him to give the guard a tip of ₦2,000.
Interestingly, when @Pentane returned to the same restaurant last week, he was met with the same enthusiastic greeting from the security guard.
Meanwhile, he visited the same restaurant last week, while security guy repeated same greeting approach.
However, he extended the greeting and walked away, leaving the security guard who looked at him awkwardly.
Sharing the reason for his act, the X user stated, “I deliberately didn’t give him anything because I don’t want him to start feeling entitled to my kindness every time I show up”.
