A Nigerian man has stirred up online discussions by critiquing Chioma Adeleke, the wife of Afrobeats icon Davido, for her choice of attire.
This individual, Chiedu Ikechukwu, took to Facebook in a post that quickly went viral, questioning Chioma about the expense of her ensemble.
Man Calls Out Chioma Over Outfit
In his post, Ikechukwu highlighted that the price of her outfit equates to 14 years of his salary, suggesting it could also sustain thousands of people for three months.
He wrote, “Are you aware that the cost of your outfit equals my 14 years of salary? How can you wear something that could feed 5,000 people for three months?”
Additionally, Ikechukwu advised Chioma to consider more budget-friendly clothing options, saying, “Why spend so much on clothes when you can purchase them in places like Aba, Onitsha, or Okirika for as little as 10k? Chef Chi, please learn to manage and economize 🙄.”
Additonally, a government official, Ossai Ovie Success described Chioma’s outfit as ‘half-naked’.
It would be recalled that last year, Chioma Adeleke faced intense backlash over her outfit at the 68th Grammy Awards.
She wore a sheer dress that drew mixed reactions, with netizens praising her confidence and others criticizing it as inappropriate.
Amid the backlash, Chioma responded, emphasizing,”I will wear it again“.
