Popular content creator, Maraji, has defended Annie Idiibia amidst calls to remove the actor from the Young, Famous, and Africans show.

Recall that Annie has faced multiple backlash from other stars from the reality show and critics.

Few days ago, the notable actress and wife of musician, 2Face, faced yet another backlash from a Ugandan socialite, Zari Hassan, who mercilessly dragged the actress and her husband, 2Face.

This came after the show’s Season 3 premiere, which captured a heated exchange between veteran Nigerian star Ini Edo and Annie.

It all started in the dining when Annie made certain remarks about Zari’s husband and their wedding which didn’t sit well with the socialite.

In response, she dragged the actress’s legendary singer husband, describing him as a baby-making factory while also questioning Annie’s achievement as an actress.

However, Maraji, in a video shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, defended the actress.

She maintained that Annie did nothing terrible as everyone has at some point gossipped about other people.

Maraji stated that the only difference between Nigerians and Annie is that they know their friends.

According to her, Annie loves friendships and just keeps confiding in people that want quick information.

She further described the actress as a sweet person, with a soft heart who only puts up a tough exterior to protect herself from heartbreak.

If you watch me right now and tell me you do not gossip about people or you have never made a funny face about people, then you are a liar.

“The only difference between Annie and us, is that we know our friends.

“Annie loves friendship, she loves friendship so much that she doesn’t even know who friends are, because she bonded so quickly with the new girl over the fact that they are mothers, you can see how joyful she is to speak to the lady.

“She just keeps confiding in people that want quick information.

“Annie is also very sweet, she’s a sweet person who thinks she’s a gangster, she thinks that if she comes off as gra gra, people will respect her, she’s trying to protect herself because she knows she’s a softie, she knows that her heart.”
