Mark Ballas Reveals Possibility of Dancing with Wife BC Jean on DWTS

Mark Ballas, the celebrated champion of Dancing With the Stars, is open to the idea of bringing the enchantment of dance into his date nights with his wife, BC Jean. The prospect of sharing the dance floor with his real-life partner excites him, especially if a special edition of the popular ABC reality series were to pair professional dancers with their spouses.

At the 2026 Tony Awards, Mark expressed his enthusiasm to E! News about the possibility of teaming up with BC Jean, his talented wife. “It’d be fun,” Mark remarked during the interview. “We already make music together, and we have a new album coming out this year. We’ve been collaborating like this for a decade, so dancing together would undoubtedly be a great experience.”

BC Jean, who along with Mark is the proud parent of their 2-year-old son, Bankski, shares her husband’s excitement about the potential dance collaboration. However, she has one stipulation for the competition: “I’d have to win,” BC asserted, acknowledging Mark’s impressive track record of securing three Mirrorball trophies throughout his time on DWTS.

And while BC—who shares son Bankski, 2, with the professional dancer—echoed her husband’s enthusiasm on a possible team-up, she has one condition.

As she emphasized, “I’d have to win.” After all, Mark has won three Mirrorball trophies during his many years on DWTS.

And the Broadway star knows his wife has what it takes, noting that BC—born Brittany Jean Carlson—has “natural rhythm.”
