Mark Wahlberg recently provided an update on the recovery of his daughter, Grace, who was injured in an equestrian accident.

The star of Ted revealed how Grace, who he shares with his wife Rhea Durham, is doing after being hospitalized following a fall during a competition over a week ago.

Speaking exclusively to E! News alongside his The Family Plan 2 co-star Michelle Monaghan, Mark shared, “She’s doing well. It was a frightening experience, but she handled it with bravery and resilience.”

Mark, who is also the father of Ella, 22, Michael, 19, and Brendan, 17, mentioned, “Grace is eager to get back to riding. Despite the scare, she’s determined.”

He emphasized Grace’s unwavering passion for equestrian sports, acknowledging the inherent risks but noting her dedication to the activity.

“Always nerve-wracking when she’s jumping,” he added, “especially as she goes up in height quite often.”

But that’s not going to stop Grace—who has been riding horses professionally for years—from following her passion, as Mark reiterated, “She’s eager to get back.”
