Actor Meagan Good has been flaunting her relationship with Jonathan Majors ever since the two announced they were a couple. In a recent interview, Good shared what exactly she appreciated the most about Majors.

Meagan Good trusts the path that she’s on with Jonathan Majors

Good and Majors sparked rumors that they might’ve been a couple after they were photographed together on May, 2023. They later confirmed their pairing by holding hands when they attended a hearing together at a New York City courthouse. Since then, the two have been more than open about their relationship. Good has even stood by Majors’ side throughout his controversies with ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

“Life is crazy—I’m crying to you—she is the most perfect, beautiful, divine [and] powerful being that I’ve ever met,” Majors said of his fiancée in an interview with Ebony. “The fact that she said I’m gonna run with you, I’m with it. I feel great.”

Good confided that the feeling was mutual, and believed God was sending her a good sign by sending Majors her way.

“Literally, I was talking to God … and I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be. And I’ve learned along the way that not only will things not always make sense to me, but sometimes they won’t make sense to other people,” Good said in an interview with The Breakfast Club. “That’s OK, as long as you are in alignment with God and you’re trusting, you know, the path that you’re on … and the more that I’ve done that, the happier I’ve been.”

“I don’t know when I’ve been this happy before. Well, I think I might have been a kid,” she added.

Good also fought back against the assertion that their relationship was a publicity stunt.

“Ya’ll don’t know how publicity works first of all … this don’t make sense for publicity,” she said.

Meagan Good’s friends warned her against dating Jonathan Majors

Good wasn’t exactly looking for a relationship when she first met Majors. She’d just come out of a divorce with her ex-husband Devon Franklin when she bumped into the Creed III star.

“EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathroom,” Good said in an interview with People.

Good admitted that there was instant chemistry between them. But she wasn’t in the mindset to date him until they reconnected later.

“Then we re-met again about four months later,” she said. “And I was like, ‘This is gonna happen. This is gonna happen.’ And it did.”

But her friends advised her to proceed with caution when it came to dating Majors. He was already knee-deep in his scandal with Jabbari at the time. Good understood her friends’ concerns, but couldn’t help but date Majors, anyway. Even after Majors’ conviction, Good was still accompanying the former Marvel star on film premieres, once again showing their bond.

“At the end of the day, one thing I know is that I can always look myself in the mirror when I trust my spirit, when I trust God, when I ask God, when I move to the beat of my own drum — I can always look and say, ‘I’m proud of that,’” she confided to Today. “Whatever happens, I have peace in my heart and I have harmony in my heart.”

“I take everyone’s opinion and advice into account, for sure, but at the end of the day, I’m the one who has to live my life. I’m the one who has to get to Heaven one day, prayerfully, and give God an account of what I did,” she added. “So, I want to be responsible for the choices that I make. I also want to live the life that I want to live.”
