The versatile left-back also serves as a key player for Spain’s national squad, contributing significantly to their victorious UEFA Euro 2024 campaign. In a notable career move, he departed from Chelsea in 2026 to fortify the ranks of Real Madrid.
Alongside Cucurella on this remarkable journey has been his steadfast partner, Claudia Rodriguez, who has supported him through the various transitions across cities and teams. Let’s take a closer look at her role in Cucurella’s life and their shared family journey.
How long Cucurella and Rodriguez have been together

I feel very fortunate for everything we have shared over these past few years … Everything we have experienced these past years has been an experience of pure learning. We have been through it all, but above all, we have enjoyed this journey. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this chapter of our lives … I wish you all the best. London will always be Blue.”
In that same post, Rodriguez shared that she was also “bursting with happiness” about Cucurella’s move to Real Madrid because she has been a fan of that club since she was a child.
