Megan Fox is set to take on a new role as she lends her voice to Toy Chica in the upcoming film, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. The sequel to the highly successful 2023 horror film by Blumhouse and Universal will hit theaters on December 5, inviting audiences back to the eerie world of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.

This new installment will feature not only Fox but also MatPat voicing Toy Bonnie and Kellen Goff as Toy Freddy. Emma Tammi returns as director, continuing her work from the first film. The cast also sees familiar faces with Josh Hutcherson reprising his role, along with Matthew Lillard, Elizabeth Lail, and Piper Rubio.

In the original movie, Hutcherson played a night security guard at the infamous Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, where animatronic characters come to life with deadly intentions. While the sequel’s plot specifics remain under wraps, the studio has hinted at a chilling theme with its tagline: “Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances.”

Inspired by the immensely popular video game franchise, the first Five Nights at Freddy’s film was a major success, raking in 7 million globally since its release in October 2023. This achievement not only made it the highest-grossing movie for Blumhouse but also demonstrated its appeal by streaming concurrently on Peacock.

Based on the wildly popular video game series, Five Nights at Freddy’s made a killing at the box office in October 2023, grossing $297 million worldwide and becoming Blumhouse’s highest-grossing film ever—all while streaming simultaneously on Peacock.

The new casting was unveiled during Jason Blum’s BlumFest panel at New York Comic Con on Friday night, which also showcased upcoming titles like Black Phone 2, the video game Sleep Awake, and, of course, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.

Fox, meanwhile, has been busy across genres. She recently starred opposite Michele Morrone in Millennium Media’s thriller Subservience and popped up in Amazon’s comedy series Overcompensating. Her other recent credits include Till Death, Night Teeth, Big Gold Brick, and The Expendables 4.
