A person’s wedding day is supposed to be one of the most romantic days of their life. It’s a day when they and the one they love say their vows, promising to spend their lives together. And the two people tying the knot are usually so focused on each other and no one else. But now a video is going viral from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s wedding that shows the former Suits star looking at Prince William when many think she should have only been looking at the man she just married instead.

The video, which was shared on X.com on May 1, 2025, shows Meghan turning her head towards Prince William as she and Harry began to walk down the aisle of St. George’s Chapel after becoming husband and wife. The duchess’s quick glance could have been to any royal on that side of the chapel but because William was directly in her eyeline most believe that’s who she was looking at.

The post reads: “On what should’ve been the most romantic walk of her life, Meghan Markle turns her head–not toward her new husband, but toward William. And the look on William’s face? Like he already knew this was a problem. The queen, Prince Philip, and William look incredibly concerned.”

The 14-second clip has more than 3 million views and over 5,000 likes so far. It also garnered hundreds of comments with fans weighing in on what other members of the royal family may have been thinking about the Sussexes’ marriage.

“The queen does not look happy at all. Prince Philip and William appear to be amused by the s*** show. They all knew where this marriage was headed,” one person opined.

“Not one smile from them. They all knew,” another person wrote.

A third person posted: “They had every right to be concerned, messy is a bunny boiler of the first order. She wants William because she wants to be queen and get her hands on all the money she perceives that the royal family has.”

“They knew what a disaster she was. But I do think the depth of Henry’s hatred took them all by surprise,” a fourth added

Why some Palace staffers are convinced Meghan was always ‘flirting’ with William

Not only has Meghan been accused of staring at William after she married his younger brother, but she was also been accused of “flirting” with the future king when she was still a working royal.

In the book Yes Ma’am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants, which was serialized by The Times, royal biographer Tom Quinn relayed what Palace staffers told him about Meghan’s habit of hugging that did not go down so well with equerries in the royal household.

According to Quinn’s book, “Meghan’s warm, friendly, hug-everyone approach” had the Palace rumor mill spinning and those who worked in the household making claims that she was “flirting” with Prince William because she embraced him “every time” she saw him.

“Meghan hugged him virtually every time they bumped into each other,” Quinn wrote. “The hugging and cheek-kissing fueled gossip among the staff that Meghan was flirting with William, which she was obviously not, but the tense atmosphere caused by all the touchy-feeliness (and the resultant gossip) deepened the rift between the brothers.”
