Meghan Markle caused quite a stir with her appearance during Paris Fashion Week. 

The duchess was criticized for what many called “baffling” behavior from posting an Instagram video as her vehicle drove near the site of the car crash that killed Princess Diana to her “cringe” air-kiss greeting with designer Pier Paolo Piccioli.

Now, something Meghan was seen doing on camera at the expense of one runway model has really raised eyebrows.

The former Suits star attended the Balenciaga show with her longtime pal Markus Anderson and when a model on the catwalk trips and stumbles, Meghan is seen giggling.

The video that has been making the rounds on social media shows Prince Harry’s wife sitting in the front row, putting her hand to her face and laughing as one model is said to have lost her footing. The clip is awkward, especially since no one around her is smiling.

After having her laugh, Meghan turns to Anderson to say something but he is not amused at all. She then appears to realize she was the only one laughing and quickly turns to continue watching the show.

If Meghan was hoping no one would catch that, she was wrong. The video of her giggling at that moment has gone viral.

One commenter wrote, “Turns to Marcus so they can be b***** mean girls together and realizes too late she chose the wrong reaction,” while a second person added, “Thank goodness Marcus quickly put her back in place by keeping a poker face and only engaging in what he’s watching.”

A third posted: “She is absolutely lacking in empathy or manners … who in their right mind would laugh at someone’s embarrassment.”

And a fourth chimed in: “She can’t read a room. As. Ever.”
