Sister Wives season 19 will return for its wrap-up and tell-all special on April 20. While fans are excited to see the series return, they aren’t thrilled that Sukanya Krishnan will, once again, host the special. Ever since she took the helm, fans of the series have theorized that she was brought in to keep Kody Brown happy. Meri Brown basically confirmed the conspiracy theory during a recent interview.

Meri Brown suggests Kody Brown had Tamron Hall booted from the ‘Sister Wives’ tell-all specials

Kody Brown’s first wife, Meri Brown, will be back on the small screen for the remainder of Sister Wives on April 20, but before the rest of the season premieres, she showed up on The Tamron Hall Show. Before bringing Meri Brown out, Hall revealed that she spent several years hosting the Sister Wives tell-all episodes before being unceremoniously booted from the job. Hall theorized that “someone” didn’t like her.

Meri Brown confirmed Hall’s assumption once on stage. She suggested that Kody Brown, who doesn’t like to be held “accountable,” might have had some sway when it came to picking a tell-all host. She seemed to suggest that Kody and perhaps his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, influenced the network’s decision to replace Hall.

Meri Brown and Tamron Hall confirmed that Hall was removed from the tell-all specials because of Kody Brown. In doing so, they may have inadvertently confirmed one longstanding conspiracy theory. The series’ fans have lamented how the tell-all specials were structured for several years, wishing for Hall to return. Often voiced on social media, the complaints have led to a prominent conspiracy theory. Some fans suspect Kody Brown and his only remaining wife have complete control over the tell-all special. They believe the control extends to who hosts the special and what questions are asked. The conspiracy theory gained traction after Sukanya Krishnan began hosting the special event.

Fans of the reality TV series have long complained about Sukanya Krishnan continuing to host the tell-all specials. The biggest complaints revolve around Krishnan’s limited understanding of the source material and failure to ask Kody and Robyn essential and challenging questions. Some viewers have even suggested Krishnan purposefully avoids asking Kody and Robyn Brown any serious questions. Meri and Tamron’s admissions suggest there may be truth to the theory.’

The series, which premiered in 2010, has taken viewers on a wild journey through polygamy. Initially, the Browns insisted their polygamist family operated in total harmony. They gave up that facade a few years ago, leading to a renewed interest in the series. TLC has not announced if it will continue to cash in on the family’s dysfunction for one more season.
