Michelle Keegan got back to work on the set of a mystery project over the weekend – four months after giving birth to her baby daughter Palma.

The actress, 38, shared a series of behind the scenes snaps as she got in front of the camera once again, weeks after it was revealed she had signed a six-figure advertising deal to become the new face of Sky.

The Fool Me Once star was dressed casually in white linen trousers and a matching tank top which had ‘Copacabana’ printed across the chest. 

For the day of filming, the former Coronation Street star slipped into a pair of white flip flops and brown sunglasses as she kept her fans updated via her Instagram Stories. 

After getting glammed up in the makeup chair, she slipped into a pair of blue denim jeans and a comfortable-looking olive cardigan. 

Michelle’s Sky deal is her first major job since she gave birth to her daughter Palma – who she shares with her husband, reality star turned presenter Mark Wright, 38 – in March.

Michelle, who found fame as Tina McIntyre on Coronation Street in 2007, will film a series of promo clips with fellow British actor Idris Elba, who already appears as the ‘face’. 

A source told The Sun: ‘Michelle has really been enjoying maternity leave with Palma, but she’ll be back to work soon to film these new adverts for Sky.

‘Brassic is ending after the seventh series and Michelle is keen to still be a part of the Sky brand.

‘Landing this ad is huge for Michelle, as she’s fast becoming a brand in her own right. Everything she touches seems to turn to gold.’

After leaving ITV soap Corrie in 2014, Michelle’s career took off, with hits such as BBC military drama Our Girl, Sky’s Brassic and BBC’s Australian drama Ten Pound Poms.

Last year, she had the starring role as Maya Stern in Netflix’s Harlan Coben thriller Fool Me Once – which racked up more than 100 million views globally.

MailOnline contacted Michelle’s representatives for comment at the time. 

Michelle and Mark have been enjoying their time as new parents and have been sharing small glimpses of Palma on their social media accounts.

It’s believed the couple chose the name Palma because of their strong links to the Spanish island of Mallorca, which has been their go-to holiday destination for years and the setting for their pregnancy reveal photo shoot.

The TV personality pair and their daughter Palma have recently returned from the swanky £300-a-night SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort Hotel after a break with Mark’s extended family.

The sun-soaked getaway was baby Palma’s first holiday abroad and Michelle marked the occasion with a post, revealing the little girl’s sweet nickname.

The couple welcomed their first child together on March 6 and then announced the news on their respective Instagram pages a week later.
