May 14: An arrest at the family home
The first major incident occurred in May, when Milania was arrested in Montville Township, New Jersey. Reports said police took her from the home of her mother and stepfather after a domestic dispute escalated. According to police reports, Milania allegedly threw food and candles around the property.
Her older sister, Gabriella Giudice, made the 911 call. Milania was charged with one count of assault. In body camera footage released later, she appeared to behave erratically, smiling and laughing as officers drove her away from the family home. After news of the arrest spread, Milania posted on social media and said she “ate down” in her mugshot. She later admitted that she had not been in a good place at the time of the incident.

July: Milania Giudice loses her best friend in a tragic accident
On July 14, Milania appeared remotely before Montville Township Municipal Court and pleaded not guilty. The judge read the allegation during the hearing, stating that she struck a person identified as “LR” in the head with her fist, leaving redness on the forehead. The legal case remains unresolved.
Milania faced another painful development in July. Following her court appearance, her longtime friend Victoria Zardoya died in an accidental fall at the Fort Dade Ruins. Victoria, a New Jersey native who had grown up on the same street as Milania, was visiting friends in Tampa when she died.
September 23: A mental health crisis makes headlines
Milania and her family honored Victoria in tributes shared in July, and public attention appeared to ease for a time. However, Bravo fans continued expressing concern after noticing what they described as erratic behavior in Milania’s social media posts. Those concerns intensified following another death in the Giudice family in early September and new reports of an incident involving Milania on September 23.
Reports said Milania was traveling through a Tampa-area airport with her mother, Teresa, her sister Gia, and a counselor when she left the group. Police were contacted to help find her. A dispatch log obtained by TMZ said Milania had recently been released from St. Anthony’s Hospital and that officers were informed she was experiencing a mental health crisis, including suicidal thoughts. Police located her a short time later in a parking lot.
Milania’s representative, Marina DeSantis, said she is surrounded by loved ones and receiving care from professionals supporting both her and her family. DeSantis attributed Milania’s struggles in part to the devastating loss of her best friend, Victoria, and said the family’s priority is her health, recovery, and overall well-being.
Joe Giudice also addressed the situation publicly. Speaking to Page Six, he said grief has no set timeline and emphasized that his main concern is ensuring his daughter knows she is loved and supported.
