It’s been over ten years since the short-lived romance between nepo babies Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger, but Cyrus appears to be dredging up the past in a music video from her new visual album, Miley Cyrus: Something Beautiful, which is now streaming on Hulu in the U.S. and on Disney+ internationally. You don’t dance on the Hollywood star of your ex-boyfriend’s dad unless you want his attention, right?
A visual companion to Cyrus’s recent 2025 album of the same name, Miley Cyrus: Something Beautiful was directed by Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, Brendan Walter, with cinematography by Benoît Debie. Most of the music videos are low-concept, featuring Cyrus on a single set—or, in one case, on a motorcycle in front of a green screen—in a fabulous outfit, lip-syncing to her songs. But there is one previously unreleased music video that stands out from the bunch: “Walk of Fame.”
The full “Walk of Fame” music video—which can be found about half-way through the visual album, streaming on Hulu and Disney+—features the pop star strutting her stuff—where else?—on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, while she sings about her celebrity status.
In addition to strutting, Cyrus also employs some provocative dance moves that involves lying down right there on those disgusting LA sidewalks. She writhes and rolls around on the Hollywood stars. Cinematographer Benoît Debie takes care not to reveal any names on the stars—with one major exception. The only name we see clearly—and the one Cyrus appears to dance up on the most—belongs to Austrian action star and former California state governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Schwarzenegger’s Hollywood star was installed back in 1987, and can be found at 6764 Hollywood Blvd. Obviously, the big-muscled actor is well-known for his starring roles in action flicks like The Terminator and Predator, in addition to his term as the governor of California. But he also has a connection to Cyrus, thanks to Cyrus’s brief five-month romance with Schwarzenegger’s son, Patrick, back in 2015.
Patrick Schwarzenegger (also an actor, most recently seen as Saxon in Season 3 of The White Lotus) and Cyrus were an item for a hot minute during Cyrus’s “Bangerz” era, when the pop star was in an “off-again” phase of her on-again, off-again relationship with future ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. During that time, Cyrus publicly dated Patrick Schwarzenegger, and was photographed kissing him at a USC Trojans football game.
A few months later, Cyrus joined her boyfriend and his father on a family ski trip to Idaho. In a recent 2025 interview on Watch What Happens Live, Schwarzenegger recalled Cyrus was a “wonderful houseguest.”
“The best was that she’s a wonderful, wonderful girl and human being,” Schwarzenegger told host Andy Cohen. “Very, very talented. She came up to Sun Valley when we were skiing up there, and she was just such a wonderful houseguest, and everything like that. We just all loved her.”
The action star added, “I’m sorry it didn’t work out. But Patrick, in the meantime, found another girl that he got engaged with, and is getting married to, in September.” (The younger Schwarzenegger is engaged to fashion model Ashley Champion, who has been his girlfriend for eight years.)
Even though Us Weekly reported that the younger Schwarzenegger and Cyrus broke up in April 2015 (about a month after Spring Break photos surfaced of Patrick doing body shots off another woman), it seems Cyrus stayed on good terms with her ex’s father. The two were seen hugging and snapping a selfie together at an Upfront party in NYC, over a year after the breakup.
So what does it mean that, a decade later, Cyrus filmed herself rolling around on the Hollywood star of the father of her ex-boyfriend? Did she see something she liked in The White Lotus Season 3? Or did she just need a Walk of Fame star to roll around on for this video, and figured her old buddy Arnold wouldn’t mind?
It’s also worth noting that Cyrus just received her own Hollywood Walk of Fame star earlier this month. “This moment will live forever, thank you to everyone in my life who made it possible,” wrote in a social media post about receiving the star. “I am grateful to share this star with you.”
