• Adura Aloba, brother of Mohbad, has denied actor Yomi Fabuyi’s claim that he offered ₦3 million in exchange for a video of his brother fighting his wife Wunmi.

• At a World Press Conference, the actor’s brother denied any wrongdoing and assured that he would never withhold information to secure justice for the late singer.

Adura Aloba, the brother of the late Nigerian artist Mohbad, has denied the allegations made by actor Yomi Fabiyi, who claimed that Aloba offered ₦3 million in exchange for a compromising video of his brother engaged in a dispute with his wife, Wunmi.

During a recent World Press Conference aimed at seeking justice for Mohbad, Aloba refuted Fabiyi’s assertions, emphasizing that he would never deliberately withhold information that could aid in achieving justice for his deceased brother.

“Firstly, I don’t have much to say because this case is in court already. I can’t know what killed my brother and be silent about it. So about that video, the video is from three years ago, and I had it on my phone because Mohhad recorded it; however, I’m not the one who sent the actor the video.”

Fabiyi had earlier stated that Adura possessed further information about the singer, who passed away on September 12, 2023.

“Adura Aloba, Mohbad’s younger brother, sent me a DM after listening to me for a while and reacting in the comment section. When he realised that I didn’t see the DM in time, he asked me to check my DM, and lo and behold, he offered to give me a video of a fight between the late singer Mohbad and his wife for ₦3 million.”

He further asserted that the altercation led to Mohbad falling down the stairs and sustaining a head injury.

Fabiyi connected the purported video to the day Mohbad was hastily interred in a small casket, with his neck reportedly broken and contorted to fit. However, the family of Mohbad has since refuted these claims.
