Molly-Mae Hague has candidly shared that she resorted to medication to manage intense anxiety and panic attacks that arose during turbulent times with her partner, Tommy Fury.
The social media star and the professional boxer, both 26, recently reconciled after a brief separation due to Tommy’s issues with alcohol and allegations of cheating.
Molly-Mae makes her return to the spotlight with the second season of her documentary series, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, available on Prime Video.
In a particularly dramatic scene, viewers witness a tense phone call between Molly-Mae and Tommy, which ends abruptly as she hangs up while he is away.
Reflecting on the incident, Molly-Mae discussed how their relationship has strengthened since their reunion, though she admits to feeling anxious whenever alcohol is mentioned. She also revealed her reliance on beta blockers during their most challenging moments to help manage her severe anxiety.
She said: ‘Even though Tommy and I have been so much better and we’ve been getting to a much better place, there’s still things that trigger me so badly, like I hear the word alcohol, and I’m like, Oh, I mean, I’m tense, I’m shaking, I’m like, really anxious.

The influencer reunited with the boxer, both 26, following a brief split amid his struggles with alcohol and reports of infidelity
‘I care so much about Tommy and our relationship that when that’s not on form, and when there’s an issue, it’s just all so consuming for me.’
She continued: ‘I had this panic attack, and I was, like, being sick. I thought, Oh God, this is not good. Like, this is, this is really bad because my body is literally not coping with it, not coping at all with the anxiety.
‘Yeah, it was so bad. Had to have beta blockers because I was so anxious.’
It comes after Zoe Rae said sister Molly-Mae’s relationship status with Tommy Fury is ‘abnormal’ and ‘not good for their daughter Bambi’.
During the first episode, the influencer and businesswoman is seen speaking to her sister Zoe about how she and Tommy are not living together despite reconciling.
Molly-Mae says: ‘Tommy and I, in an ideal world, we wouldn’t be in two separate houses and hopefully by the end of this year we won’t be.’
Zoe then replies: ‘I think you need to trial it.’
As she swiftly responds that she’s there ‘all the time’, Zoe hits back: ‘You’re not Molly, you’re there every other day.

After the moment, Molly-Mae was seen speaking about how their relationship has improved since their reconciliation but she is often triggered if he mentions alcohol
‘Again not normal and not good for Bambi.’
In a raw and honest admission, Molly-Mae then said: ‘The thought of going over there and putting all my eggs in one basket is scary because with me and him I never know what tomorrow is going to bring.
‘I just think I get anxiety because I don’t know if I’m going to wake up and be in a big problem because there has been many of times.’
She added: ‘At the minute having two homes and living apart is almost a bit of safety blanket for me and the security knowing I have my own space and can remove myself if I need too.’
Molly-Mae and Tommy were pictured sharing a kiss on New Year’s Eve last year, before she finally confirmed their romance was back on in May.
Also in the first episode, she admits how ‘things aren’t perfect’ and they are both ‘still figuring it out’.
The mother-of-one explains: ‘A lot of people say having children can really pull you apart but that was never the problem with Tommy and I.
‘Bambi has always been really good for our relationship and recently Bambi actually bought us closer together.

‘It kind of happened bit by bit, recently we are just spending more time together and going out in public together more which at first was scary because we didn’t know what we were going to say.’
She continued by revealing she won’t put her engagement ring back on until Tommy makes a gesture to demonstrate his love for her.
Molly-Mae said: ‘We are back together, I don’t know what we are. I’m not putting my ring back on yet because I just don’t feel quite ready and also I would kind of like him to make a bit of a gesture.
‘Not ask me again, that’s just a lot, but just a nice dinner or something to just have that moment of like “Okay, I’ll put my ring back on again”.
‘We are still living apart, we’re still going through things, we’re still navigating things, we’re still figuring it out. We’re back together yes but it’s not perfect.’
