Monica pulled out all the stops to celebrate daughter Laiyah turning 12.

Over the weekend, the singer hosted a party at Fade & Face restaurant in Atlanta, where event planner Torrie Williams transformed the venue with balloon garlands, floral arrangements and oversized butterfly installations.

Guests were greeted by stilt walkers, while a towering cake decorated with flowers and butterflies stood as the centerpiece.

For the occasion, Monica and Laiyah twinned in pink, with the birthday girl sporting a Balenciaga hoodie set.

Among the guests were Toya Johnson-Rushing, husband Robert “Red” Rushing, and their daughter Reign.

Toya later posted her own photos from the event, writing, “Happy Birthday to my baby @laiyah. We had so much fun celebrating you this past weekend. Wishing you the best year ever… keep shining, dreaming big, and enjoying every moment of being a pre-teen. We love you!”

On Tuesday, Monica marked her daughter’s actual birthday with a sweet Instagram message: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY @laiyah. Daughter, you float effortlessly into every space you enter… You are the joy of our hearts & the love of our souls … Your presence is precious, don’t ever let anyone take it for granted. Including yourself. Love Mommy.”

Monica shares Laiyah with ex-husband Shannon Brown. She is also mom to sons Rodney, 20, and Romelo, 17, with ex Rodney “Rocko” Hill, and a bonus mom to Hill’s son, Ramone, 29.

In a past Hello Beautiful cover story, she reflected on raising her daughter, saying she is committed to supporting Laiyah’s goals.

“I’m not directing her or redirecting her away from what her goals and dreams are,” she said. ” We’re pushing her towards it because I think she has the right support system to be a part of what she wants to be a part of. But I love the joy of having a daughter. I love the fun of us being able to talk about some of the female things.”
