Afrobeats sensation Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has revealed his intention to change his birth date amidst a heated conflict with his twin brother, Rudeboy.
Mr P made this surprising announcement on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Though he did not disclose the new date in his tweet, the decision has further fueled the ongoing discord between the two brothers.
The tweet read, “I’m officially changing my birthday date.“
Peter and his brother were both born on November 18, 1981, and together they achieved fame as P-Square, one of Nigeria’s most iconic music duos.
The twins have been at odds since their split in 2017, with issues ranging from management and finances to creative direction.
Their reunion in 2021 was short-lived, and they’ve since pursued solo career.
Rudeboy Arrested By EFCC
Earlier, Rudeboy accused Mr P of orchestrating his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Apparently, Mr P filed a petition with the EFCC, alleging Rudeboy of fraudulent dealings, but Rudeboy was eventually cleared of the allegations.
The drama unfolded with Rudeboy being invited by the EFCC, questioned extensively about his financial transactions, and even asked to provide a lawyer and sureties.
Despite being proven innocent, Rudeboy expressed disappointment that his twin brother didn’t apologize for the false accusation.
