NBA YoungBoy a.k.a YoungBoy Never Broke Again has fans buzzing after appearing in new photos with his ex-girlfriend, Yaya Mayweather, and their son, Kentrell Jr. (KJ).

In the pictures, shared to his Instagram, the rapper holds his son while Yaya stands nearby, watching. The moment has sparked questions about where the two currently stand.

The timing also raised eyebrows. May 20 is Yaya’s birthday, and it’s rumored that YoungBoy gave her a new car. The gesture added fuel to talk that the pair might be reconnecting. Still, fans are split on what the photos mean.

Just days before, YoungBoy posted photos from a family outing with his wife and children at an amusement park. While those images were later removed, fans quickly saved and shared them. The posts have created confusion about his personal life and who he’s currently with.

NB AYoungBoy, born Kentrell Gaulden, was released from federal prison on March 24, 2025, after serving nearly two years. He was transferred to a residential reentry facility in Phoenix before being fully released on April 26. Since then, he’s been active again—both in music and in public.

He recently announced the 2025 MASA TOUR, his first headlining tour in five years. The tour starts September 2 in Dallas and includes stops in Houston, Chicago, Brooklyn, Miami, and more. It wraps October 19 in New Orleans. DeeBaby, EBK Jaaybo, and K3 are set to join as special guests.

Earlier this year, YoungBoy dropped his compilation album More Leaks, which features 20 previously-teased songs. Shortly before that, he released the single “5 Night” along with a lively music video, which featured a cameo from Yaya Mayweather.
