Nick Cannon and Lanisha Cole celebrated daughter Onyx Ice Cole Cannon’s third birthday with a trip to Disneyland.

Cole shared photos and videos from the outing on her Instagram Stories, showing Onyx dressed in red pants, a Minnie Mouse–themed striped top, and matching Minnie ears with a red bow.
In one photo, Onyx posed with her parents and grandma, while another showed her riding on Cannon’s shoulders.

Cole also wrote a message about the day, revealing that the outing had a rough start. “It was an eventful start to the day, but we are all safe. Dada got a little banged up, but prayerfully he’s okay. I’m grateful it wasn’t worse. The devil tries, but he can’t stop anything over this way,” she wrote.

In addition to Onyx, Cannon has eleven more children. He shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey; sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah and daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; and son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi. He and Alyssa Scott share two children — daughter Halo Marie and son Zen, who passed away at 5 months old in 2021.

Recently, Cannon opened up about how his divorce from Carey drove him to have multiple children with different women.

“A lot of it is the trauma that I was experiencing of not knowing how to handle divorce,” the 44-year-old said during an appearance on The Breakfast Club.

He explained, “It wasn’t like I was acting out. It was more of being careless, being frivolous with my process because I could do it because I had the money.”

Now, as he approaches 45, Nick admits he might have done things differently if he had taken more time to heal.

“If I would have thought the process through a little bit more and took time to actually do the inner work, things might have been a little different in certain scenarios.”

Still, he emphasized that “every child that I had was made out of love and there were strong relationships,” he said, while acknowledging that if he had prioritized healing, he “probably would have took [his] time in a lot of other scenarios.”
