Monroe and Moroccan turn 14! To mark the special occasion, Nick Cannon celebrates his twins’ 14th birthday with a special message on social media.

“Happy Birthday to my Firstborns! 14 years old!!! Somebody slow this thing down!!! Please!!!” the Wild ‘N Out host started his special birthday message, writing the caption on an Instagram reel. 

“They didn’t even want a birthday party!! They said they are too cool for that! LOL So instead they had the entire @thebasementescaperoom experience all to themselves and they had a blast!! Scary and mindblowing to say the least but Roc & Roe and their friends loved it! And they let the old man tag along as a chaperone! I love you guys with everything I got and beyond!! Here’s to another trip around the Sun!”

The 44-year-old shares his first born twins with ex-wife, singer, Mariah Carey. In a previous interview with People Magazine, Carey opened up, telling the outlet that she and Cannon have remained “friends” and “co-parent” together well. 

“I think Nick and I have done pretty well in co-parenting, staying friends with each other so that we can talk.”

Cannon and Carey both agree that that are raising their children to be humble and grounded, in spite of the superstar status of both of their parents.

“I want my kids to understand that every child isn’t as fortunate as they are,” Cannon told People Magazine in 2012. Carey echoed that sentiment in an interview with the outlet in 2019 saying, “It’s hard, but I try to keep them grounded so they don’t think everything is just handed to them.”

In addition to the twins, Cannon is also father to ten other children by five women. Cannon’s other children include: sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah Cannon and daughter Powerful Queen whom he shares with Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole. Cannon also father two children with Alyssa Scott — son Zen, who died at five-months-old in December 2021 from brain cancer, and daughter Halo Marie Cannon, who was born in December of 2022.
