Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are the latest stars to fall victim to LA’s alarming wave of celebrity home burglaries.

The power couple, who purchased their Beverly Hills mansion in 2008 for $4.7 million, were not home when the break-in occurred over the weekend, according to TMZ.

Legal sources report that an intruder smashed a window to gain entry, but was ultimately scared off by one of Kidman and Urban’s employees. 

It remains unclear if anything was stolen, as the couple will need to assess their home upon returning, per the outlet.

So far, no arrests have been made, though authorities have launched an official investigation.

The Oscar-winning actress and country music superstar, both 57, own the five-bedroom, 3,977-square-foot estate, which sits on a 1.4-acre lot in the prestigious Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood.

This latest burglary comes just weeks after Shang-Chi star Simu Liu’s home was targeted during the holiday season, further underscoring the growing trend of high-profile break-ins in Los Angeles.

In 2024, a slew of other A-listers including Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson as well as Jessie J, Tyler Perry, Sophia Bush and Marlon Wayans had their Los Angeles homes broken into. 

Over the summer, Wayans’ $5.3 million farmhouse in the San Fernando Valley was targeted by burglars. 

In October, Jessie J also fell victim to a rash of burglaries targeting wealthy residents in the greater Los Angeles area.

More than $20,000 in jewelry was stolen from her Southern California mansion. 

Back in August, law enforcement officials also confirmed that Hanks and Wilson’s cliffside property in the Pacific Palisades was broken into while they were not home. 

Bhad Bhabie and Sarah Hyland also had their homes broken into this past summer.

Victoria’s Secret model Daniela Braga’s home was also ransacked by burglars who stole $1 million of belongings. 

Additionally, a number of athletes also had their homes burglarized in 2024. 

Kansas City Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were targeted in October while Cincinatti Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow also had his home broken into recently. 

Since then, the FBI has issued a formal warning to U.S. sports leagues after confirming at least nine professional athletes have been victims of burglaries by organized theft groups.

Meanwhile, Nicole and Keith have built an impressive international real estate portfolio since marrying in 2006.

Their first joint purchase came in 2007—a 36-acre estate in Franklin, Tennessee, for $2.45 million. 

The following year, they upgraded to a $3.47 million mansion in Nashville’s exclusive Northumberland community.

Beyond Tennessee, the couple owns properties in Manhattan, Sydney, and New South Wales.
