In a surprising twist, rumors are swirling that Nicole Kidman may be open to rekindling her relationship with Keith Urban, should he express interest in reconciling.
Fans were left in disbelief when news surfaced of Kidman and Urban’s decision to end their nearly two-decade-long marriage. The split, which was announced recently, caught many off guard, including Kidman herself.
When news broke that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were ending their 19-year marriage, fans around the world were shocked. Well, the actress was pretty surprised herself.
Several reports have claimed that the decision to split was not Kidman’s. Even though she ultimately filed for divorce, Urban was the one who chose to pull the plug on their union.
As one source told TMZ, the two had been struggling with marital issues and the Moulin Rouge star was working on “getting it back together” until Urban unexpectedly decided to call it quits.
Despite that, an insider who has known Kidman for years told the Daily Mail that she would definitely get back with her ex if he wanted to.
“She would get back with him in a heartbeat,” that person shared.
The actor and musician haven’t made a joint public statement about their separation. Kidman cited “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce filing.
There have been reports that one of the reasons behind it has to do with another woman, who is Urban’s utility player. However, that has not been confirmed. The story really blew up though after the singer changed a lyric in his song “The Fighter” that was about Kidman and replaced it with the other woman, Maggie Baugh’s name.
