“In my next life, I don’t want to be famous” – Nasboi opens up on quitting fame once he hits ₦5 billion

Nigerian entertainer Nasiru Lawal, better known by his stage name Nasboi, has recently shared candid reflections on his journey through fame and his aspirations for the future. The skitmaker and singer took to the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to express his personal priorities and his vision for the years ahead.

In his post, Nasboi underscored a significant preference for financial security over public recognition, admitting that the strains and demands of fame are not something he wishes to endure again, even in another life. “I will choose having money over being famous… I no fit try this kind thing for my next life again,” he stated emphatically.

Nasboi went on to articulate a clear plan for his future, highlighting a specific financial milestone as his cue to step away from the spotlight. He declared that once he amasses a fortune of 5 billion, he intends to retire from all forms of public entertainment, including skit-making, music, and acting. “Once my money complete 5 billion, I don disembark. I no do again… No skit, no music, no acting. Make brain rest,” he explained.

This revelation sheds light on Nasboi’s desire to prioritize personal peace and financial stability over the fleeting nature of fame, offering a glimpse into the mind of an artist planning his next chapter with intention and clarity.

Nasboi explained that he has already mapped out his exit plan from the limelight, stating that he will quit skit-making, music, and acting entirely once he reaches his personal financial goal.

According to him, ₦5 billion is the target he needs before stepping away from the entertainment world.

After years of juggling multiple creative fields, all he now seeks is rest, peace of mind, and financial stability.

His revelation has sparked reactions online, with many fans agreeing that fame can be overwhelming, while others encouraged him to keep pushing until he achieves his goal.
