North West opened up about her fashion choices, friendships and more during a recent TikTok Live session with her mother, Kim Kardashian.
The 13-year-old has drawn criticism for her blue hair, black grills, dark outfits and piercings. During the livestream, she pushed back after a viewer described her appearance as “demonic.”
“Stop saying I’m demonic. No, I’m not. Just because I like to dress this way, don’t judge a book by its cover,” North said.
Kardashian suggested that some people may connect North’s black grills and piercings with something sinister.
“Yeah, but I don’t know why you guys should put that with demonic because I don’t get that,” North responded.
North also clarified whether the facial piercings seen in her looks are genuine.
“But, guys, like, these piercings are not real. I change them, like, so much that you guys think they’re real,” she explained.
According to Kardashian, North’s interest in piercings began when she was still in preschool. Even then, she reportedly wore fake septum and eyebrow jewelry to class.
“She would do like a double brow in pre-K, going in with fake piercings,” Kardashian recalled.
Asked about getting real piercings, North said she would eventually like to have her cheeks pierced.
“We can glue on for now,” Kardashian told her daughter.

The conversation also turned to Halloween, which North identified as her favorite holiday.
“I love doing better costumes every year, because, like, last year the costumes were good, but I think I did a little too much,” she said.
North revealed that she would not be trick-or-treating this year, offering a blunt explanation: “I’m not trick-or-treating though, because I got no friends.”
When one viewer asked whether she felt lonely, North answered, “No, not really.”
She went on to explain that she does not have many friends her age because, in her words, they have been “really fake” with her. “I’m not even, like, the type of person to drop somebody, but I don’t want to be with people that do me dirty,” she added.
North also discussed her recognizable blue hair, saying she sometimes wears wigs because repeated bleaching has damaged her natural hair.
“Sometimes it’s real. Sometimes it’s a wig,” she said, confirming that her natural hair is brown.
Kardashian was also asked what she admires most about her daughter. The reality star said she loves North’s individuality.
“There’s so much about North, but just that she’s really like herself,” Kim said.
She explained that North has always known who she is, what she loves, and how she wants to express herself.
“I love that about her. She’s never changed,” Kim added.
