Offset is speaking out after a viral image of his son, Wave, began circulating online this week. The photo showed the three-year-old with braided hair similar to that of NFL player Stefon Diggs, who is currently dating Wave’s mother, Cardi B.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the rapper shared a series of posts where he suggested the hairstyle similarity was not coincidental. “Now when somebody die for playing with my son then call me the crash out,” Offset wrote. “Idc how I look troll wit my kid ends bad.”

Shortly after posting, Offset deactivated both his X and Instagram accounts.

His reaction came shortly after Cardi posted photos with Diggs on Instagram, softly launching their relationship. Fans noted that while Wave has had the braids since April, Diggs only recently appeared with the same hairstyle.

Offset and Cardi B, who share three children—Kulture, Wave, and eight-month-old Blossom—have been navigating a high-profile divorce since July of 2024.

During a May 30 conversation on X Spaces, Cardi revealed the name of their youngest daughter and addressed Offset’s lack of presence in their children’s lives.

“Kiari is allowed to see my kids,” she said, using Offset’s legal name. “It is not one day that he’s not allowed to see my kids. He stood up my kids three times.”

Cardi added that Offset has seen Blossom only a handful of times. “I been trying to save your face…I said you can see my kids in my house. I want my daughter to feel the love of her dad. He hasn’t seen his kids since March.”

The conversation also touched on finances. In response to Offset’s request for spousal support, Cardi shared that she contributes over $50,000 each month to cover expenses for their children.

Offset and Cardi began dating in 2017 and married later that year. Their split became public in late 2024, around the same time Cardi and Diggs were first linked.
