Offset is hoping to bring calm to a turbulent chapter in his life with ex-Cardi B as the pair continues to navigate through their high-profile divorce.

The 33-year-old rapper is simply seeking peace with the “I Like It” singer because of their kids.

Speaking to TMZ earlier this week, the rapper stressed that his focus is on family first.

“I just want all peace,” he said. “We got kids to take care of.”

He also made it clear that he’s standing behind Cardi’s music, confirming that he’ll “for sure” support the release of her upcoming album “Am I the Drama,” which drops on Sept. 19.

The former couple, who wed in 2017, share three children together. They share daughters Kulture Kiari, 7, and Blossom Belle, 1, as well as son Wave Set, 4. Cardi B filed for divorce in July 2024, with sources at the time noting that her main priority was securing primary custody of their children.

Though Offset has expressed a desire for peace, Cardi B has been candid about the difficulties of their split. In a Billboard cover story earlier this month, she was blunt when asked if she envisioned a lasting friendship with her ex.

“I tried,” she said, before adding, “Next question.”

In June of this year, Cardi B used X Spaces to call out Offset as an alleged “deadbeat dad,” stating that he “left [her] with the kids’ bills” for “a whole year straight.”

She described the high costs of raising their kids, which include 24-hour security, private schools, extracurricular activities, a nanny, and even a personal chef.

“Kiari, have I asked you for anything? You want spousal support so bad,” Cardi B said at the time. “And mind you, this is not even including food — my kids have a personal chef that comes from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. that I pay for because people in my house don’t have time to cook.”

Despite the friction, those close to the pair suggest the divorce didn’t come as a shock. A source previously told Page Six that both had simply “grown apart.” Offset’s latest comments seem to be a nod to his commitment to co-parenting with his ex.
