Sanya Richards-Ross is going to be a mom again!

The Olympic gold medalist and former Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her husband, Aaron Ross, are expecting their third child together!

On Saturday (Feb. 22), Sanya took to Instagram to share the announcement alongside a Coming to America-themed photoshoot. The special moment coincides with her milestone 40th birthday and 15th wedding anniversary, making the celebration even more memorable.

“40 + 1” , she began. “I knew this birthday would be special, but this was more than I could have imagined.”

She continued, “On this birthday and my 15 YEAR ANNIVERSARY… @rossboy31 and I will be adding one more little prince or princess to our crew. My birthday and anniversary is actually on the 26th but we’re celebrating today so let’s just pretend…. Haha.”

With excitement, she concluded, “Im about to me a Mommi of THREEEEEE AHHHHHHH!!!!”

Sanya and Aaron, who are already proud parents to two sons—Aaron II, aka “Deuce,” and Asani—are thrilled to be expanding their family. However, their journey to baby No. 3 hasn’t been without its challenges.

During Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Sanya shared her emotional struggle with fertility. Viewers watched as she experienced the joy of learning she was pregnant, only to face heartbreak when she suffered a miscarriage nearly two months later.

“It was incredibly traumatic,” Sanya revealed in an exclusive interview with People. “I was in New York and had a really bad miscarriage. I had to go to the hospital. I had to have a blood transfusion. It was very, very, very scary.”

Despite the pain of loss, Sanya and Aaron went on to welcome their son Asani, and now, they’re eagerly awaiting their newest addition. Will it be another boy, or will they welcome a baby girl? Fans will have to wait to find out!
