Jenelle Evans is at it again. She’s taken time out of her busy schedule of roadtripping across the country and meeting her idol, Kesha, to call out her beleaguered mother, Barbara Evans. The former Teen Mom 2 star took to TikTok to claim that she is once again not on speaking terms with her mother. After revealing that they were no longer speaking. She said, “You guys don’t even know what just– you don’t know what’s been going on.” She did not elaborate. The admission doesn’t come as a massive shock to followers. Jenelle is constantly feuding with someone, and Barbara Evans is often a target. Let’s take a look back at their feuds over the last few years.

Jenelle lost it when Barbara advised other teen moms

Jenelle Evans and Barbara Evans rarely seem to be on good terms, but there are moments when the tension really seems to rise. That was the case in 2022. In 2022, Barbara Evans was heard on Instagram Live offering some advice to young mothers in the Teen Mom universe. Babs, who was seemingly unaware she was being recorded, told several stars to be careful with their MTV earning. She advised them not to blow it on cars, boats, and boyfriends. She noted that Jenelle had gotten wrapped up in spending her money needlessly.

Jenelle was quick to take to social media to share melancholy posts about her “accomplishments” never being acknowledged. She insisted her mother was toxic, and talked about fans telling her her mother was speaking badly about her. Barbara did not respond.  

In 2023, Jenelle tried to get a restraining order against her mother

Jenelle Evans attempted to take the drama to a legal level in September 2023. After Barbara Evans spoke to TMZ about Jace Evans’ string of runaway attempts, Jenelle tried to get a restraining order against her mother. Jenelle claimed that Barbara’s conversation with the press caused her and her children “emotional distress.”

She initially sought an emergency restraining order. It was denied. A civil order was also denied. During her chat with TMZ, Barbara admitted that she and Jenelle were not in contact, but noted that she was in contact with her grandson, whom she had raised from infancy until he went to live with his mother at 14. Based on what Barbara had to say, she and Jenelle were already not speaking when she made the comments. The drama over Jace’s runaway attempts continued through February 2024, when Evans filed for legal separation from David Eason.

The following year, she compared herself to Gypsy Rose Blanchard  

Jenelle Evans spent the early part of 2024 hating on David Eason, but there was room for her to throw some barbs at Barbara Evans, too. In 2024, Jenelle took to Facebook to suggest that she had grown up like Gypsy Rose Blanchard. She alleged Barbara Evans had a mental illness and made her sick as a child, although Evans did not

The elder Blanchard forced her daughter, from infancy into her early 20s, to undergo numerous medically unnecessary treatments and procedures. The perfectly healthy woman was confined to a wheelchair, fed through a feeding tube, and subjected to surgeries she did not need.

The mother-daughter duo’s latest drama could be about anything. Right now, Jenelle is being cryptic, but that is subject to change at any moment. We’ll stay tuned.
