Paige DeSorbo paid a visit to Bravo’s sister network NBC to appear on Today With Jenna & Friends Tuesday (June 10), but there was no avoiding the elephant in the room.
Jenna Bush Hager kicked off what was meant to be a summer style segment curated by DeSorbo by asking her about her recent decision to exit Summer House. “Big news, you’re not coming back to Summer House?” Bush Hager asked.
“I’m not,” DeSorbo confirmed. “It’s a sad, sad day.”
Bush Hager then asked if she was “happy” with her decision, to which she replied, “I’m indifferent. I’m sad but I’m also happy. They’ll be fine without me!”
She was all smiles as she attempted to keep the mood lighthearted. “I need to sleep and not get yelled at for sleeping. I need to stay in the bed,” she joked.
DeSorbo announced she was leaving with an emotional statement shared on social media June 5.
“Being part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life – the friendships, the giggles, all unforgettable,” she wrote. “You’ve seen me grow up over these last 7 summers. I’ll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has taught me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it’s time for this chapter to close.”
“I never could’ve imagined what this journey would turn into – and how many of you would be along for the ride. And you haven’t seen the last of me, I promise. So much more to do together, but for now you know you can always find me and Daphne in my bed,” she continued.
Her exit comes after seven seasons on the Bravo show.
In 2024, DeSorbo went through a highly publicized breakup with her boyfriend of three years, Southern Charm star Craig Conover. The reality stars took jabs at each other several times since breaking up in late 2024 as they publicly aired out their drama across social media and Bravo.
It’s unclear whether DeSorbo will ever return to reality television. But she does have her Giggly Squad podcast to focus on, as well as her new sleepwear line, Daphne.
But DeSorbo is a friend of Today Show and has appeared on the fourth hour several times, so there is a chance that fans will still be able to catch her sharing style tips on Today With Jenna & Friends.
