Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, have officially become a family of five with the arrival of their third child.

The couple shared the news on January 13, posting an image of their newborn daughter’s tiny feet, alongside the caption: “•Golden Raye Mahomes• 1/12/25.”

Earlier in 2024, Brittany and Patrick shared the news of their pregnancy with fans, posting a sweet video featuring their two kids showing off the baby’s sonogram. The video, which showcased the family in matching white outfits, was accompanied by the caption, “Round three, here we come.”

Later that month, they surprised fans with a creative tic-tac-toe-themed gender reveal video, announcing they were expecting a baby girl.

Golden joins older siblings Sterling, who was born in February 2021, and Bronze, born in November 2022. 

Patrick has previously made it clear that three children is enough. At a Kansas City Chiefs training camp press conference, he joked, “I’m done, I’ll say that. I said three and I’m done.”

Despite joking about their family size, Patrick has expressed how fulfilling fatherhood has been for him. ““It’s awesome. … I always wanted to have kids young,” he elaborated. “I got to grow up in a locker room, and it made such an impact in my life. We’re on our third kid now. … Brittany does a great job of doing that, and we still go out and enjoy our life.”

Patrick has also praised Brittany for the balance she brings to their family life. In a podcast interview, he shared, “I think people don’t even realize how much she does. “I mean, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and make it where I can focus on football and focus on my craft and everything like that.”

He added, “[She’s] a Hall of Fame mom and a Hall of Fame wife, [and] that makes it a lot easier.”
