Phaedra Parks recently experienced a heartwarming moment as her son, Ayden, made a memorable impression at his Homecoming 2025 event.
The former star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” took to Instagram to showcase her 14-year-old’s stylish appearance, expressing her pride with the caption, “Proud #Mom moment #Homecoming2025 Prince @ayden.nida did not come to play!”

Parks revealed that she missed the previous year’s homecoming due to her participation in “Dancing with the Stars.” However, this year was different, thanks to her son’s thoughtful gesture.
“Last year, I was unable to attend because of #DWTS, and my dance partner @valentin saw me cry after our FaceTime call because I was so upset. This year, Ayden insisted, ‘Mom, I want to take my pictures with you,’ and I couldn’t have been more thrilled,” she shared.
Fans of the Bravo series have followed Ayden’s journey since his birth during the show’s earlier episodes. Earlier this year, the teenager attended his first Pre-Debutante Cotillion (PDC) dance, also known as a Sadie Hawkins event, in April—another milestone Parks joyfully shared with her followers.
“Many of you watched me carry this blessing and birth him on television. He has grown up right before your eyes!” she wrote at the time.
Alongside a photo of Ayden and his date, she gushed, “Ayden (the Prince) attended his first #PDC dance aka Sadie Hawkins with the sweetest, most adorable young lady.”
Phaedra, who shares Ayden and 11-year-old Dylan with ex-husband Apollo Nida, has been open about balancing fame with motherhood.
“It hasn’t always been easy because parenting doesn’t come with a handbook,” she previously said. “But GOD has ALWAYS seen me through.”
When not helping her boys to achieve their dreams, Parks loves traveling with them.
Over the summer, she shared photos from a family trip to Hong Kong, writing, “One day they’ll look back and remember the views, the laughs, and the love. Until then, we just keep flying.”
