A new poll has revealed where most respondents believe the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should move next.
After almost six years in the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly surprised royal watchers by returning to the U.K. in August. King Charles was said to welcome the decision, as it would allow him to spend more time with the couple and their family. However, their return has not been welcomed by everyone.
Prince William and the Princess of Wales, formerly known as Kate Middleton, were not reported to have offered the Sussexes a warm reception. William has allegedly not spoken to his brother since Harry came back to the U.K.
Sources have claimed that the future king has no interest in repairing his relationship with Harry and Meghan. Instead, he is said to be acting as though the couple are not in the country at all. One source claimed, “He’s stopped complaining about Harry and Meghan and is now acting like they don’t even exist instead… and continuing to act as though Harry and Meghan are banished when they’re clearly right there at his doorstep.”
William may not be alone in his apparent frustration with the Duke and Duchess. A new poll suggests that many people in the U.K. also believe the couple should consider relocating—and respondents have named a specific destination.

The poll follows confirmation on October 27 that Meghan will appear as a co-host and special guest during the 2027 season of Junior MasterChef Australia. Harry’s wife previously appeared on an episode of MasterChef Australia, which aired on July 26.
According to poll results, Australia is where many respondents believe the Sussexes should move. A Daily Express poll launched on October 30 asked readers, “Should Prince Harry and Meghan Markle move to Australia?” A total of 75% answered yes, 22% said no and the remaining 3% were undecided.
Those who commented on the poll also shared why they believe the prince and former Suits star should leave the U.K.
“They have to live somewhere, and it might as well be a place that is geographically as far away from the UK as possible. Sorry Australia, but you do have far more wide open spaces than here, and they could live in complete privacy,” one commenter wrote.
Another commenter claimed, “They do not have fans in the UK. The Nottingham circus was bought and paid for by the Harkels. They drummed up a rent-a-crowd and paid for the flowers they then handed back… It’s embarrassing. I see so many commenting from their countries that they don’t want them either.”
A third wrote, “An apology would not be appraised as being sincere. The pair are perceived as being self-serving and liars. Let’s face it, if you tell more than one version, at least 1 is a lie. Harry has cried wolf too many times. If he was the least bit sorry for his behavior, he would have apologized when the queen was alive. They are not wanted here, probably not welcomed with open arms anywhere else either.”
