Sabrina Carpenter has taken on a striking new persona in the latest cover photos for Perfect magazine’s newest issue, leaving fans doing a double take with her dramatically different look.

The 26-year-old pop sensation, known for her trademark blonde locks, transformed her appearance in a series of covers shot by Bryce Anderson. In a surprising twist, Carpenter donned a long, sleek brunette wig complete with face-framing bangs, an unexpected departure from her usual style.

Complementing her bold hairdo, Sabrina sported intense mascara and a glossy onyx manicure, her piercing blue eyes commanding attention from behind the camera lens. This daring aesthetic marks a fresh chapter in her evolving public image.

In another captivating shot, the “House Tour” singer’s dark hair was styled in playful, short loose curls. This look added yet another dimension to the diverse array of styles she showcased for the magazine.

Another outtake featured the House Tour hitmaker with her dark hair styled in tufts of short, loose curls.

She teased her taut tummy in a red and white plaid shirt tied at the front and teamed with fringed, white, hot pants.

Carpenter, who was interviewed by Marc Jacobs for the accompanying story, also wore a white wedding dress and veil.

A cigarette hung from her mouth and her face was made up with heavy, smudged liner circling her eyes.

Additionally, there was a striking photo of the music artist donning a pale pink, 60s-inspired mini dress.

She posed on a retro beige couch with her strawberry-blonde hair teased in a voluminous crown of curls.

The artful photo portrayed a despondent-looking Carpenter with smoky eye makeup and a handbag strewn on the floor in front of her.

A fifth cover featured the beauty in a long-sleeved black dress, crouched on the floor as she licked her knee.

She reflected about the photo spread styled by Katie Grand, ‘We got to really try some looks that I’ve never tried before.

‘Lots of wigs, lots of different make-up for me, lots of shapes that maybe I wouldn’t normally wear.’

Carpenter released her album Man’s Best Friend last August.

The project earned her six 2026 Grammy Awards nominations, but she left the ceremony empty-handed.

Her wildly successful Short n’ Sweet tour ended in Los Angeles at the Crypto.com Arena in November 2025 after kicking off in September 2024 and stretching 72 dates.

In her conversation with Jacobs for Perfect, she teased her upcoming headline performances at Coachella.

‘It’s the most ambitious show I’ve ever done. It’s probably the most time I’ve ever had to actually just sit down and talk about a show as I’m building it,’ she shared.

‘Most of the time, you’re really quickly thrust into physical rehearsals, but this time around we started this process around seven months ago. So it’s been a long journey. It will be very special,’ the petite performer promised.
