Still mourning the end of Blue Bloods? Well, mourn no more, friend, because a new Donnie Wahlberg-led spinoff, Boston Blue, is coming to a television screen near you.
Per CBS, the new series centers on Wahlberg’s Danny Reagan as he joins the Boston PD and partners with Detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green), a rising star from a powerful law enforcement family. Also starring a talented ensemble that includes Ernie Hudson, Maggie Lawson, Gloria Reuben, Mika Amonsen, and Marcus Scribner, Boston Blue has already earned a spot on CBS’ upcoming fall schedule (and even went through a casting change).

When Is The Boston Blue Premiere Date?
Boston Blue officially premieres Friday, October 17 at 10:00 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+ Premium. The show’s debut will be preceded by the Season 4 premiere of Fire Country and the series debut of Sheriff Country.
