Cindy Crawford and her family are mourning an unimaginable loss.
Her son, Presley Gerber, whom she shared with husband Rande Gerber, died at a rehabilitation facility on Sept. 20, according to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner. Presley, the older brother of Kaia Gerber, was 27.
Officials have not yet determined a cause of death.
A representative for the family confirmed Presley’s death to TMZ and said the family is “asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”
Presley had previously spoken publicly about his ongoing mental health struggles and personal challenges.

In an Instagram video posted in December 2025, he reflected on the losses he had experienced, saying, “I’ve had a lot of loss in many different forms recently.” He added that while those experiences were “not an excuse,” they were “the reason—or part of—why I am where I’m at now.”
During the video, the model also discussed the medications he had been taking and acknowledged that he wished he had more clarity and guidance regarding the appropriate dosages.
