If Charlie Zakkour thought dealing with Brooks Marks was a lot, wait until he meets his dad, Seth Marks.
In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek of the Tuesday, June 17, episode of Next Gen NYC, Charlie is asked to meet up with Seth after he went on a date with his daughter, Chloe Marks.
“Brooks’ dad called me and was like, ‘Yo! Let’s get a coffee,’” Charlie tells costar Ava Dash. “I just don’t want to do it. I don’t know.”
Although he ultimately agrees to a sit-down chat, Charlie continues to express just how annoyed he is with the setup.
“What would I rather be doing than having this meeting with Seth?” he asks in a confessional. “Cutting my own dick off, sleeping, vomiting at my house, f***ing Chloe, literally anything.”
To compare, Seth is absolutely pumped to have a chat with his daughter’s possible new boyfriend.

“Just so you feel comfortable, I have three kids and I always wanted to be, like, a life coach,” he explained. “I want you to be one of my first nongenetic clients.”
Unfortunately for Seth, Charlie is a little hungover from the night before and may not be down for some serious questions.
“I was talking to you before you and Chloe even hung out,” Seth shares. “I see myself in you so I know how dudes think. The pride and joy of my life — my daughter — and you have a connection going and whether it’s going to be a body count transaction or something deeper and more meaningful…”
Before things go any further, Charlie makes it clear that it’s far too early to tell where his relationship with Chloe will go. After all, they are just getting to know each other.

“To be honest,” he explains, “we’ve been on one date, but I will say the level of familial involvement is a little bit more intense than I’m used to after a first date with a girl.”
Earlier this season, viewers watched Chloe’s brother and “bestie for life” Brooks call out Charlie for his dating ways.
In a previous episode, Brooks reacted to an “offensive” and “gross” text from Charlie in which he said “something like, ‘Come meet us out later tonight if we’re not already back at my place.’”
In response to the text, Chloe told her brother, “In what hemisphere does he think I would go home with him on a first date?”
