Prince William may be a future king, but like many dads, even he couldn’t help getting nervous and being overprotective when his wife was pregnant, and there’s video to prove it.

The Prince and Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) have three children together–Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. And now a video making the rounds shows that each time Kate was expecting, William was stressed and even admitted to being “terrified” prior to his kids’ birth.

The couple’s first child, Prince George, was born on July 22, 2013, followed by his sister, Princess Charlotte, on May 2, 2015. Their little brother, Prince Louis, arrived on April 23, 2018. But even as the years went on, William still appeared to be a “nervous wreck” at times during Kate’s pregnancies.

The 58-second clip posted on TikTok has over 1 million views and more than 125,000 likes.

It opens showing William chatting with well-wishers during a walkabout in February 2018 ahead of Prince Louis’ birth. When fans asked about Kate, the Prince of Wales said: “The bump’s getting quite big now.” And when they wanted to know how he was feeling, William responded: “I’m terrified. Three’s quite a lot. You’ve only got two hands … what do you do with the third one?”

The video also includes tongue-in-cheek and playful captions over the rest of the footage.

The next clip cuts to William and Kate together at another event with the captions: “Her last engagement before maternity leave … trying to keep Kitty comfortable … that’s his babykins … bro chill she’s okay.”

The clip after that shows William loading one of his children in the car with their car seats and a caption that reads: “Catherine said he practiced this with a baby doll.”

The text over the following footage says: “She was ready to pop and he was STRESSED … can’t let her walk without touching her … it was serious for him … ‘excuse me she’s 5 minutes from giving birth so should I get her home.’”

And the text over the clip of them walking out of the hospital after the birth of Prince George read: “You know [William] was shaking in his boots.”

The video has also garnered more than 150 comments, with fans posting about William’s actions around an expecting Kate. Some of those included: “Her pregnant had him STRESSED,” and “bro was so concerned,” and “he was locked in. Had Catherine sense instead of Spidey senses.”

Another added: “He’s so caring like his mother! May Princess Diana rest in peace, she is proud of her son William.”

A fifth chimed: “William was on protect overdrive. He probably would have bubble-wrapped her if he had the chance.” And a sixth wrote: “It’s so funny and endearing seeing all these clips of him being so protective all together!”

A few users joked that Kate’s pregnancies are the reason William is “bald,” while others pointed out their favorite parts of the video and clips that had them chuckling.
