Princess Andre has discussed living in her mother Katie Price’s now-infamous ‘Mucky Mansion’, which she brands ‘a really scary place’.
The celebrity offspring, 18, whose father is Peter Andre, spoke to The Guardian in conjunction with the launch of her ITV2 reality show The Princess Diaries.
The show hit screens last week and was met with uproarious praise, however her success has also been marred with controversy over her mum’s absence from the show – something that led to Peter speaking out in retaliation.
Princess conceded: ‘They don’t like each other’, while addressing the scandal around her parents before detailing life split between their two homes.
On the ‘chaotic’ life at Katie’s Sussex home, which has become famous for its delapidated state and repossessions, Princess admitted ‘bad experiences’ happened in the house: ‘It was a really scary house. A lot went on there. So I didn’t really like it.’

Katie’s detached, nine-bedroom pile became renowned for its state – even becoming subject of a reality show – and sold in December for £1.5million.
Reflecting on the house, Princess said: ‘No. It was a really scary house. A lot went on there. So I didn’t really like it. I guess when you have bad experiences somewhere you don’t like the place.’
Katie has spoken in the past about her fears that the home is haunted by the spirit of a small child, while a number of her pets have died in the property.
The family originally left the £2million family home last May after claiming vandals had poured corrosive acid over her car while it was parked outside the property.
Ahead of Price’s departure from her former home last May, a source said: ‘Katie has been dreading this day for so long but now it is here, she can’t wait to leave.
‘The house has caused her so much grief and was too much to handle on her own. With work and the kids it all became too much in recent years. And she’s convinced it’s haunted.’
The former glamour model, was declared bankrupt for a second time in March 2024 over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.
Speaking about the West Sussex property, she said: ‘I absolutely hate the Mucky Mansion, even how it’s been called the Mucky Mansion because of all the stuff that happened there before…
‘I can’t wait to get out of that house I’ve had nothing but bad memories in that house for nine years. I hate the Mucky Mansion, I never want to see it again and I can’t wait to move into my new place, I am so excited. New beginnings, new start, reset button’.

Katie’s home became so infamous it became the subject of a documentary chronicling her attempts to overhaul the mess

Princess went on to reflect on her mum and dad’s fractious relationship, in the wake of scandal surrounding her absence on the reality show
Discussing contrasts of life at her parents’ respective homes, Princess went on: ‘Dad’s house is a lot quieter, a lot more peaceful, a lot more organised. Whereas my mum’s house is much more just do what you want…
‘I love being in the middle. I love the two different houses, because if I fancy a bit more chaotic and busy I’ll go to Mum’s and if I fancy more relaxed I’ll go to Dad’s.’

Last week, Peter’s ‘final straw’ for posting a bombshell statement about his ex-wife Katie Price was reportedly revealed.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, and his ex, 47, split in 2009 after four years of marriage, but have remained devoted parents to Princess and her brother Junior, 20.

However, Peter appeared to reach breaking point, issuing a blistering statement on social media in response to Katie’s latest remarks suggesting their children live equally between them.
During her podcast, Katie claimed she had been excluded from Princess’s rising career. And now, according to The Sun, the comments were the tipping point, leaving Peter ‘pushed to the brink’ and determined to set the record straight.
A source told the publication: ‘Pete had to speak out now because things had just become unbearable. Katie lies and lies about Pete, she talks about him and tells lies about the kids all the time and he was sick of it.
‘The fact is, she went on her podcast and said that Princess lived with her and that’s just not true.’
On Thursday, Katie, urged Peter to take part in peace talks – claiming Princess has been ‘unfairly’ dragged into their feud after there were rumours of a family rift because she didn’t appear in Princess’ show.
