Britain’s royal family has been through a lot over the last few years. The names of key family members were dragged through the mud after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down and made it their mission to tarnish some senior royals’ reputations. The Firm also lost the matriarch and patriarch of the family when Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II died within a year and a half of each other.
King Charles became the monarch and two years later, he was diagnosed with cancer. In addition, the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) was diagnosed with cancer as well that same year.
According to an expert, in those times and beyond one person has emerged as a “rock” for every member of the family. Read on to find out who.
Who has become a ‘rock’ for every member of the royal family
Darren Stanton is a body language and behavioral expert with a degree in psychology. He previously worked as a police officer and used his expertise to uncover the truth when interviewing hundreds of suspects. He later moved into media and TV as a consultant and has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector.” He’s also analyzed the behavior and demeanor of several royals over the years and revealed that Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara Tindall, has become the family’s “rock.”
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, Stanton told Showbiz Cheat Sheet: “As younger royals have begun to modernise tradition and show more personality, Zara Tindall’s confidence has clearly grown. She’s never been one to fit the mold of a stoic royal. Zara is full of warmth, laughter, and joy. She’s often seen smiling with a big grin and appears relaxed and at ease.
“These are traits that reflect her genuine nature. It’s likely she once felt out of place trying to conform to the more reserved royal image, but now, authenticity and approachability can go hand in hand with royal life. Zara shines brightest when she’s simply being Zara. Fun-loving, confident, and completely real.”
Stanton continued: “Her personality seems so fun and down to earth, and Zara has a great rapport with every member of the royal family. She’s been pictured laughing with King Charles and she’s great friends with William and Kate. Most recently, she looked close with Princess Eugenie at an event. She clearly thinks highly of her family and has developed strong bonds with everyone. They seem to see her as a real rock who can always be relied on. Family is very close to her heart.”

Zara married her former rugby player husband, Mike Tindall, on July 30, 2011, in Edinburgh, Scotland. Stanton said that after all these years you can still see their “strong bond” as it shows in everything they do.
The expert explained: “After 14 years of marriage, their affection and admiration for each other remain clear in every interaction. In recent interviews, their body language speaks volumes. They’re often facing one another, with Zara gently placing a hand on Mike’s arm, or sharing subtle, intimate gestures that reflect their closeness. They’re completely at ease showing their affection, never shying away from expressing their connection.
“It’s also evident that Zara’s confidence has flourished since marrying Mike. His unwavering support and their deep compatibility have helped her grow into her own. She’s not only found her soul mate with Mike, but her best friend too.”
