Food content creator Prophet Rolex has responded publicly after facing criticism over his previous promotion of TMT Travels and Tours, a company now facing allegations of defrauding Nigerians in visa-related dealings.
In his reaction, Rolex apologised to those who say they were affected, insisting he did not know the situation would develop into such a serious public dispute.
Addressing the complainants, he appealed for forgiveness over the alleged TMT visa scam and sought to distance himself from any deliberate wrongdoing connected to the controversy.

Addressing questions about his relationship with the travel company, Rolex revealed that he was only an ambassador during a specific period.
“My ambassadorial contract with him was from 2022 to 2024.”
His statement comes amid the ongoing controversy surrounding TMT Travels and Tours and its promoter, Ifeanyi Onukwubiri, following allegations involving Nigerians who reportedly paid for visa-related services.
Rolex’s clarification has, however, triggered mixed reactions, with some social media users questioning what he knew about the company at the time of his endorsement, while others said being an ambassador did not automatically make him responsible for alleged wrongdoing by the company.
