Paris Saint-Germain have booked their place in the UEFA Champions League final after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Parc des Princes, sealing a 3-1 aggregate win.

Goals from Fabián Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi were enough to send the French champions through, where they will face Inter Milan in Munich.

Despite their exit, Arsenal started brightly and looked revitalised compared to the first leg.

Mikel Arteta’s side pressed high, dominating early exchanges and forcing PSG into errors.

The return of Thomas Partey, suspended in the first leg, proved crucial, allowing Declan Rice greater freedom to disrupt PSG’s build-up and drive forward.

However, PSG adapted. Luis Enrique’s men absorbed the pressure and shifted their approach, opting to play on the break.

With electric pace from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Désiré Doué and Bradley Barcola, they exploited space behind Arsenal’s high line.

The turning point came as PSG capitalised on their few clear-cut chances, even though Vitinha missed a spot kick.

Ruiz opened the scoring before Hakimi’s well-taken finish doubled the advantage. Although Arsenal pulled one back, it was not enough.

For PSG, this marks a return to the final and a chance to claim their first Champions League crown.

For Arsenal, it’s another painful stop in their European journey this season.
