Reality TV stars Dylan Efron and “Boston” Rob Mariano, who first captivated audiences as co-stars on Traitors, are reuniting for an exciting new venture.

The duo is set to star in a YouTube competition series titled Everything’s A Competition. This show will see Efron and Mariano go head-to-head in a variety of challenges that test their prowess in activities ranging from pickleball and beer pong to sword fighting and pottery. The series promises to showcase their unexpected camaraderie and competitive nature. The trailer, available above, highlights how quickly their friendly rivalry can escalate.

In the trailer, Efron expresses his long-standing ambition by stating, “Growing up watching Survivor, I always believed I could ace those challenges. Now, I finally have the opportunity to outdo Boston Rob at just about everything.”

Each episode will feature the pair, described as “best friends and fierce rivals,” as they tackle a “new, unpredictable challenge.”

The show’s description teases that viewers can expect “everything from physical feats to bizarre creative contests—no challenge is too strange, wild, or embarrassing.”

Efron, who was recently a finalist on Dancing With The Stars, met Mariano on Season 3 of Peacock’s hit reality show Traitors where the pair forged an alliance after Mariano duped Efron into believing he was a loyal. In the end, Efron won that competition along with three fellow loyals.

In a statement, Efron said their competitive streak extended well past the Peacock reality series.

“Boston Rob is a reality legend – always out strategizing, always clutch. As someone who’s always loved strategy and competition, when we met on Traitors we became quick friends,” Efron said. “While we may have been in an ‘alliance’ on the show, in real life – we compete… in literally everything. It’s fun, it’s competitive, and he’s more nimble than he looks. Can’t wait for people to see what happens when we’re together.”

Mariano said they “had a great time coming up with these episodes and fighting it out to see who comes out on top.”

“Dylan is one of the guys that can just do it all, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still give him a run for his money. After The Traitors, we came up with the idea for Everything’s a Competition because that kid loves to show off his skills, and I love to put him in his place,” Mariano said about his co-star.

Everything’s A Competition will premiere on YouTube Thursday, Dec. 11 at 9 a.m. PT.

New episodes will air weekly on YouTube.
