Over the weekend, Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss gathered to commemorate a special occasion: their son Ace’s 10th birthday.
The duo, who once shared a romantic connection, hosted a festive party on Sunday. Following the event, they took to social media to give fans a glimpse of the joyful celebration.
On Tuesday, January 6th, Burruss expressed her joy through a heartfelt series of posts, celebrating Ace’s milestone. “Happy birthday to my Ace!!!! 10 years old! It’s unbelievable how fast time flies. I love you so much! Let’s make this next year unforgettable @acetucker!” she enthused.

Additionally, Burruss highlighted some quality time spent with her son, noting, “I enjoyed some special mommy & @acetucker moments to mark his 10th birthday! We had an absolute blast playing the #strangerthings game at @sandboxvr!”
The birthday festivities coincided with the New Year, prompting Burruss to share her reflections in another post. “It’s not even 10 PM, and we’ve already rung in the new year. I’ll probably be asleep before midnight! I hope 2026 brings immense blessings and genuine happiness to all reading this! Here’s to positive vibes and achieving every goal set! Love you all! Happy New Year!!!!”
Tucker also shared a family-focused message to ring in 2026, posting a photo with Burruss and their children and writing, “Happy New Year! Here’s my first SCHEME of 2026! Create and enjoy moments w/ family. The Tuckers.”
The joint celebration comes just weeks after Tucker requested primary custody of the children. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Tucker stated that the children are currently living with him in Georgia while Burruss works out of state. He claimed her work schedule would keep her away “for at least the next several months,” prompting his request.
In his November 26 filing, Tucker described Burruss as a “loving and capable parent” and said she should have “substantial time and meaningful access to the children.” He added that if the pair are unable to reach a custody agreement, he would seek primary physical custody, joint legal custody, and final decision making authority.
Burruss filed for divorce on November 21, formally ending her 11-year-marriage to Tucker.
Despite the legal proceedings, the two have continued to prioritize family moments. Just days before the custody documents became public, Burruss shared that they spent Thanksgiving together. “Before anyone assumes anything Todd came earlier to eat with us but he wasn’t there for the pic. He was not left out or anything like that,” she wrote.
