Kim Kardashian and North West have become one of the most discussed mother-daughter duos in 2025. From front-row fashion shows to viral TikToks, their bond unfolds both on and off the screen. As North, 11, grows into her own fierce personality, it’s clear she’s not just following in her mom’s footsteps — she’s striding alongside (and above) her. Recent photos have shocked fans with just how tall North has become compared to her famous mother.

It feels just just yesterday when Kim Kardashian and Kanye “Ye” West announced they were growing their family with a baby girl. North West was born in 2013, and she now has three siblings: Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5.

While all four of Ye and Kardashian’s children will carry on their parents’ famous legacy, it’s North who’s already making headlines. She’s delving head-first into the music industry thanks to her father’s tutelage. Ye credits North with making him fall back in love with music, and he’s helping her with her first full-length album. Ye has also said that he believes his eldest daughter will be the greatest hip-hop artist “of all time.”

North is certainly growing up fast. Kardashian posted photos to her Instagram Stories from Purelux Scalp Spa on April 27, 2025. Fans posted additional photos to Reddit showing North walking out of the spa in pink pinstriped pajamas in front of Kardashian. The photos show North starting to grow taller than Kardashian, who’s only 5-feet-2-inches tall.

“Is Kim that short, or is North that tall, or both?” a fan questioned.

“North looks so grown up here, it threw me off!” another fan wrote.

“Look at North with her eyebrows done,” yet another fan noticed. “She’s growing up.”

It’s unclear how tall North will grow, as Ye is only 5-feet-8-inches tall. However, Khloé Kardashian is 5-feet-10-inches, so North may have inherited her aunt’s genes.
