Reese Witherspoon was spotted on a rare outing with her financier boyfriend Oliver Haarmann in London on Wednesday evening.
The 49-year-old actress and her beau enjoyed a romantic date night at the theater and were seen walking out hand-in-hand after the show.
She and the businessman, 57, were among the audience members for the Tony-winning comedy-drama play Good Night, Oscar starring Will & Grace actor Sean Hayes at the Barbican.
She and her boyfriend put on an affectionate display as they strolled out of the theater, and at one point, he put his hand on her arm to guide her to their car.
Their outing came shortly after she opened up about previously taking medication for her ‘high anxiety’ and credited a hypnotist for helping her overcome it.
For their low-key date night with her boyfriend, the Morning Show star — whose hit Apple TV+ workplace drama series has been renewed for a fifth season — looked effortlessly stylish in an all-black outfit featuring a peacoat and leather pants.

She paired her edgy-chic look with pointed-toe leather pumps and carried a leather clutch to complete her monochromatic outfit.
She left her blonde hair down in her natural straight hairstyle and appeared to be wearing little to no makeup as she showed off her radiant beauty.
Meanwhile, her businessman beau looked dapper in a light blue button-down paired with a tweed blazer, gray jeans and suede loafers.
Witherspoon’s romance with the German businessman marks her first public romance since her divorce from former talent agent Jim Toth, 55, in 2023.
The couple have been romantically linked since July 2024, striking up a romance after hanging out as friends in the wake of her divorce from Toth.
Last summer, Witherspoon and Haarmann were spotted enjoying a helicopter ride into New York City together and then on a romantic dinner date the following day.
At the time, a source told People that they were just ‘friends.’
Witherspoon and Toth announced their separation in a joint statement in March 2023 and settled their divorce just a few months later in August. They were married for 12 years prior to their split.
Previously, she was married to her first husband Ryan Phillippe, 51, her former co-star in the 1999 romance thriller Cruel Intentions, from 1999 to 2008.

She shares two adult children — daughter Ava, 26, and 21-year-old son Deacon — with Phillippe.
She shares her youngest child, son Tenneesee, nearly 13, with Toth.
Harvard alumni Haarmann was also previously married and shares two children with his ex-wife Mala Gaonkar.
The private equity financier was a former partner at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. Ltd., a global investment firm in London.
He left in 2010 and became a founding partner at his own private equity firm, Searchlight Capital Partners.
He owns a stake in the New York Islanders and is worth an estimated $440 million, with $10 billion assets under management.
Back in May, it was reported that she and Haarmann had toured a $13 million New York City apartment together as they appeared to be ready to take their relationship to the next level and move in together.
Witherspoon was primarily based in Nashville while Haarmann lived in New York City.
On the same day as her Wednesday night theater date with Haarmann, a podcast episode featuring Witherspoon was released and in it, she discussed how much hyponosis has changed her life — just as the romance between her Morning Show castmate Jennifer Aniston and her hyponotist boyfriend Jim Curtis heats up.
Witherspoon admitted on the Las Culturistas podcast episode: ‘I’m a high anxiety person.’

‘I used to have bad panic attacks, like crying, and I tried meditation [but] it’s hard for me to listen. Yeah, I also have like some ADD stuff, so I can’t listen to stuff for very long. Honestly, this sounds so crazy, but I worked with a hypnotist who did no medicine,’ she continued.
‘I took medicine. Sometimes I’d have to take Ativan to calm down and then it would make me feel like a zombie, and then I wasn’t performing at the level I wanted to and I wasn’t as funny.’
She explained that she found a practitioner of neurolinguistic programming (NLP), who helped her realize that she could get the same result with hypnosis as Ativan without the sleepiness.
‘The cornerstone of that work is understanding that you’re gonna perform at the same level whether you’re stressed about it or not stressed about it,’ Witherspoon explained. ‘So decide to take the stress out.’
The Hello Sunshine co-founder learned exercises like talking to herself after completing a task and giving herself a moment to let in positive feedback.
‘That actually changed my whole life. And I want people to know anxiety is real,’ Witherspoon noted.
‘I see girls going through it or guys going through it and they post videos, and I wanna hug them. I want — [it] makes me wanna cry because it’s very real, and you’re not alone, and you can calm yourself down. There’s tools to calm yourself down.’
