Renee Zellweger appeared to have discovered the Fountain of Youth as she posed for photos with her co-star Leo Woodall in New York City on Friday.

The 55-year-old actress, who channeled Marilyn Monroe for a leggy magazine shoot, smiled broadly without a wrinkle in sight as the pair arrived for an interview at Sirius XM to promote their new romantic comedy, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.

The two-time Oscar winner showcased her trim form in a navy blue suit featuring a double breasted jacket with the cuffs rolled up at the sleeves and matching pants that touched the floor, covering her shoes.

As she sat down for her interview with Andy Cohen, Zellweger revealed a pair of Christian Louboutin high heel black boots.

Her long, blonde hair was styled in a half-ponytail with wavy tendrils framing her face. The actress’ makeup appeared natural with a soft pink lip.

Woodall, 28, looked relaxed in a black and white T-shirt and black slacks, with a blue and gold surf-team athletic jacket.

The British hunk wore white sneakers and sported the beginnings of a beard as he posed with his co-star.

‘I’m a fan of Bridget Jones…. That I share that with so many people is a really cool thing,’ the actress said in an interview with Newsweek.

The new film is based on the 2013 novel by the same name from Bridget Jones creator Helen Fielding.

‘It did change things, where people on the street say hello,’ she explained after the 2001 film Bridget Jones’s Diary, which brought the world’s favorite singleton to the big screen. ‘That’s the whirlwind that Bridget Jones was the catalyst of.’

Zellweger, who grew up in Texas and mastered a posh British accent for the role, said she still had some things in common with the beloved character including the ‘particularly the clumsy and awkward bits.’

In the new film, the fourth in the franchise, Bridget’s beloved husband Mark Darcy has died while on a humanitarian mission and she finds herself the grieving single mother on two young children.

‘She’s trying to find her way through grief and starting over,’ she told the outlet.

She also begins a relationship with a much younger man, Woodall’s ‘Roxter.’

‘When two people find the connection, why shouldn’t they see where it goes without judgment?’ he told Stellar magazine.

‘Both dynamics should be equally normalized. It’s a good thing that we’re getting the reverse’ Leo continued. ‘Because it’s not uncommon – it’s just not portrayed much in movies.’

After playing Bridget in four films now Zellweger said she enjoyed portraying the best parts of the character.

‘She’s open and she’s guileless and she’s a kind person, she’s charming and she’s funny and she’s warm.’

‘She doesn’t always get it right. There’s so much freedom in that. There’s so much freedom in not worrying what your hair looks like, not getting enough sleep, because you’re not going to look good tomorrow, and that’s fine, because that was the goal.’ she said.

‘There’s so much freedom in not being self-conscious. It was such a blessing to play her.’

In a chat with co-star Hugh Grant. 64, for Vogue,  the pair agreed that Bridget seems to be an anti-dote for the pressures of social media.

‘What I think is, [you] don’t you meet a lot of people who say, “I am Bridget Jones!”‘ she explained. ‘I think maybe folks recognize themselves in her and relate to her struggles and feelings of self-doubt.’

‘Bridget is authentically herself and doesn’t always get it right, but whatever her imperfections, she remains joyful and optimistic, carries on, and triumphs in her own way.’
