Romeo Miller recently shared a life-altering event that has made a profound impact on him.
Celebrating Father’s Day, the actor, entrepreneur, and father revealed that he underwent rebaptism alongside his two daughters. This significant experience, according to Romeo, signified a transformative moment in his spiritual life, providing him with a refreshed sense of direction and purpose.
“As I drew nearer to God, I realized how distant I had been. Going through rebaptism back in my southern hometown as an adult with my daughters was an otherworldly experience—a Father’s Day gift that I will cherish forever,” Miller expressed in a heartfelt Instagram post.
The father of two shared that for years, he had believed he needed to address every facet of his life before considering rebaptism as an adult.
“It took me 36 years of studying the Bible to understand that Jesus doesn’t ask for perfection; He simply wants us to be reborn,” he explained.
Romeo Miller said he put off getting rebaptized because he thought he had to have everything figured out first.
“I delayed this moment thinking I had to fix everything first, but the moment I submitted and rose from that water, chains that I thought would take years to break were shattered instantly.”
“Any day before this baptism was the old me. Doing things our own way never adds up. True transformation starts when you stop listening to the world and prioritize your relationship with the one who chooses you over and over, flaws and all, and that’s GOD,” he continued.
The entertainer went on to share another lesson he took away from the experience, writing that some of life’s challenges are meant to guide people toward growth rather than defeat.
“Every storm isn’t meant to ruin you; some are meant to rinse and redirect you.”
The actor said the clearest message he received during the experience was to “JUST LET GO,” citing Proverbs 3:5-6.
“We all can be redeemed!” he added.

Miller ended his message by thanking his daughters, the Johnson family, and Higher Dimension Church for helping make the day so special.
“Just WoW, what a gift from my girls! Happy Father’s Day to the dads,” he wrote.
